Trapped in a surreal, dark space, a water creature struggles to escape the consequences of environmental destruction.
As the Director of Photography, I had to respond spontaneously to the dancer's performance. Through visual contrasts – like close-up tension and distance – I aimed to reflect the suffocating pressure of pollution – both emotionally and physically.

Sarah rents a decaying apartment lit only by a flickering fluorescent tube and a glowing showerhead. As she showers, the space slowly transforms into a nightmarish trap.
A critique of the urban housing crisis.
As Director of Photography, I worked with practical lighting effects to give light a character of its own. The apartment was built as a set, allowing every shot to be precisely planned. I focused on strong composition, leading lines, and visual rhythm to support the film’s unsettling transformation.

Nino struggles with his sexual identity on the way to his first date with a male-presenting person. Confronted by judgmental gazes and his own inner conflict, he is forced to face questions of self-acceptance. The film explores identity, societal labels, and the pressure to define oneself in a world eager to categorize.
As Director of Photography, I aimed to create an everyday aesthetic that subtly visualized the protagonist’s inner turmoil. I used monochrome tones, low-key lighting, intentional discomfort in framing, and a carefully composed mise-en-scène.
